• These employers’ associations are solicited for new academic lessons, networking connections, and other resources.
• The master plan identifies potential national and state supporters for each prioritized career cluster.
• Knowledgeable career academy specialists have been consulted to assist in identifying potential national supporters.
• Career and technical programs often delivered through career academies (such as Project Lead The Way and Automotive YES) are encouraged to provide leads to businesses that support them.
• Local corporate philanthropies and private foundations are screened for potential support, particularly those foundations naturally aligned to selected clusters, such as the California Wellness Foundation.
